Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh fiddleheads
1/4 cup butter
6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 dry shallots, finely chopped
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoons white wine
Preparation
- Steam fiddleheads just until tender. Meanwhile, heat butter in a heavy frying pan and sauté garlic and shallots until softened.
Blend in soy sauce, sugar and wine.
Add steamed fiddleheads, turning to coat them well in the sauce. Serve at once.
